Application Developer
As an application developer, you thrive in a start-up like environment where flexibility, teamwork, and delivering rock solid, customer focused solutions on short timelines is paramount. You enjoy working on complex system software, tackling tough challenges, and feel strongly not only about building good software but about making that software achieve its goals in operational reality.
Specific Job Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for the design, coding and testing of mission critical, customer-facing applications
- Work with end users
- Work in a cross functional agile team
- Develop high volume web applications using the J2EE framework
- Participate in team estimation and design meetings
Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
- BA / BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years' experience developing business applications with JAVA, JSP/HTML and SQL
- Preferred skills: Eclipse, JavaScript, MySQL, Apache/Tomcat, Linux
- Excellent organization and written / verbal communication skills
- Ability to own projects and work with minimal direction
